Most corporate gifts are forgotten within a week. A few stay. The ones that stay are not the most expensive. They are the ones with a story behind them. A reason to keep them on the desk.
10 Million Women gifts tell a story and support women-owned businesses. A leather laptop sleeve hand-stitched by women rebuilding their lives in India. A planter made from ocean plastic in Guatemala. A candle made in London contributing 1% of revenue to environmental and social causes. A water bottle made using 60% less energy than a standard bottle. Each one from a women-owned business. Each one with an environmental or social story worth telling.
This is a guide to five corporate gifts that support women-owned businesses while creating real impact.
1. A leather laptop sleeve hand-stitched by women in India
In a small workshop in India, women rebuilding their lives are making leather goods of remarkable quality. The Loyal Workshop reinvests 100% of profits into counselling, education and healthcare for the women who make these pieces. Seventeen women are now in stable employment and supporting their families.
The leather is full veg-tanned cow hide, eco-tanned to let the full grain show its character.
